SALON PRODUCTS: Kera-Protein Formula Concept 1, 2, and 3, exclusively for professional use, is a salon deep conditioner which involves heat-sealing the product into the hair in sections by use of a blow dryer or combination of blow dryer and flat iron. If desired, a salon can also use a steam dryer before blow drying to help activate the treatment better with steam heat. If using a steam dryer, the hair should be covered with a plastic cap.

Each treatment may last up to 2-6 months, but can be done as often as 2-4 weeks depending on the type of hair. And unlike many salon treatments, the more times it is treated, the healthier the hair becomes, and the longer the treatment will last. It is recommended to be applied immediately following any chemical procedure, since it is a highly intensive conditioning treatment, and can therefore be left on hair for 1-72 hours.
